Plough Electric Supply Company was granted
registration of their Quality Management System to the requirements of ISO
9002-1994 by Quality Certification Bureau Inc. on April 5, 1995. QCB audits and
grants a continuation Certification to Plough yearly. We are proud to be one of
the first Electrical Wholesalers to achieve this status and demand from our
vendors them same high quality of excellence.
The following is taken from our Quality Manual:
4.1.1.2 Quality Objectives:
To establish a Collective Commitment of Preventative
Actions and controls to ensure customer satisfaction.
To Continuously identify problem areas, retrain staff and
improve system procedures.
To show a continuous decline of error rates as proof of
improvements.
To Incorporate Plough’s Total Quality System as a way of
doing business in order to Exceed Client Expectations.

Total Quality System
Plough Electric’s Total Quality System includes the
documentation, implementation and maintenance of a quality management system and
the continual improvement of the system’s effectiveness. Plough will identify
processes needed for the Quality Management system, determine sequence and
interaction of these processes; and determine criteria and methods to ensure
that the operation and control of these processes are effective.
Plough will ensure the availability of resources and
information necessary to support the operation and monitoring of these
processes; monitor, measure and analyze these processes; and implement actions
necessary to achieve planned results and continual improvement of these
processes.
Plough’s Quality Statement describes our objectives as
follows:
“To Establish, Teach, Implement, Facilitate, Plan and
Manage the Total Quality Process at Plough Electric Supply Company. To Promote
and Acknowledge Quality in our company, with our customers, with our suppliers
and throughout our Industry.”
